This project was a commission set by Visit Scotland, to create an award to celebrate the TV series Outlander. A book sculpture made from a Robert Burns book was chosen & is contained within a bell jar. The sculpture itself forms the iconic standing stones & the rugged Scottish landscape. The award is named the 'Thistle Award', so thistles grow from its pages. The Thistle award was presented to Outlander author Diana Gabaldon.
